Welcome

Welcome to IPFW ITCO, the blog for the Instructional Technology Coordinating Committee at Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne. ITCO was formed to provide guidance to the IPFW campus on Instructional Technology. The blog is an area where you can share issues and concerns regarding instructional technologies at IPFW.

Steve,

This is a good start. Do you think you could bold the letters of Instructional Technology coordinating committee, and left justify the text in the box?

What is the preferred way for people to leave messages -- Comments? I think we need a word of explanation on what to do. Could this be a link on the right,or somehow permanently on the blog in an obvious place for people who don't blog? Thanks.

Thanks, Gail. I shortened the "title text," not realizing that all of that had shown up in the title.

I also added a text box to the right indicating how people can contribute to the blog. See if you think it is clear enough...

Thanks for the input.

Steve, looks good.

I assume we'll use this as a mechanism for polling others on their thoughts with regard to the ITCO website or about technology ideas, questions or concerns?

Have we established procedures on how this blog would be used, updated etc so it is a success?

Thanks, Joseph. I'd say, more than polling, the blog is intended to serve as an incubator for online discussions of how to better use existing technology available at IPFW, as well as what technologies we could be using that we're not. The procedures are loosely described to the right of the main blog page. Let me know if you have specific suggestions in terms of procedures, or if you yourself would like to initiate a new posting.
